Motorcyclists have long been attracted to the treasure trove of welsh roads, winding through unspoiled countryside. But the casual visitor can miss so much, many sites are off the beaten track, many main roads miss the essence of wales. By taking the option of a guided motorcycle tour, we can ensure your precious time is dedicated to getting the best from your visit.

If you prefer to "test out" Welsh roads and the accomodation here to treat yourself to a short break, we offer safe parking and a few fellow bikers to chat to in the pub every evening, ASHGROVE INN is the place to stay, and really relax and enjoy.


Motorbikes is the BIG thing around here! Most of the regulars in the pub are roadbikers, some are trial riders and some are dedicated off road bikers. The area has a lot on offer for all bikers, challenging and scenic roads and our nearest neighbour is WALTERS ARENA, a dedicated area designed for off road bikes, fourwheel drives, rally, anything that has to do with challenging motorsports really. You have to see it to believe it. this is where BMW OFF-ROAD-SKILLS (opens in a new window) have most of their courses, and if you decide to join one of their courses, we will offer you a special rate for 2 or 3 nights accomodation. The world famous TOURATECH (opens in a new window) have their headquarters and shop just a few miles down the road from here, and if you are a true biker-fan, I cannot see you walking empty-handed out of their shop! TOURATECH (opens in a new window) also arrange tours for motorbikes, at all levels and at all prices, and if you want to treat yourself to one of their TOURS ( Craig Whitney (tour manager), can be found at The Ashgrove nearly every week-end!
